Fourth of July recap

So we had some awesome plans for  long Fourth of July holiday weekend.. took a few days off wooork.. made some plaans.. got all excited... and then .... rain.... all.weekend.
Those F&B fans who live in Cincinnati know exactly what we're talking about....

The "weekend" started way early on Tuesday (can't all weekends start like this?) when F&B greeted me for my birthday all dressed up...

"Bowties for the birthday girl!!"

... and then a walk and some time outdoors in the afternoon. This is Beans doing "down" although he looks like he's ready to spring into action... doesn't look too comfortable, eh??

.. aaand a little more relaxed...

AAAND thats about as exciting as it got.... after Tuesday it was pretty much rain almost all the time.
They boys didn't even get to experience fireworks! (or pretty much firework noises... lucky for them I guess???)
We had to entertain them with "activities" like... having them help make breakfast for us...

"yum?"

We even started a puzzle, but the chiefs were quickly taken out of that activity after Frank almost ate one of the pieces.. yes.. almost.
As a result the result the chiefs somehow spent a lot of the weekend like thissss...

We managed to get a few walks in, but neither of the boys were too happy about it since the ground was wet and as a result their low bellies got wet. it was quite the scene coming in from our walks (our trips outside to do "business") when they would treat our first floor like a NASCAR racetrack to dry off... crazies...

These guys are lucky they don't have to go back to work today..... Happy Monday!
