Beans is back with some Thursday funnies!! He got these sent in from a favorite fan and we couldn't help but share them...

Of course everyone knows by now that the chiefs are HUGE Tigers fan. This is a clip from over the weekend where a base runner actually tagged himself out... yep Tigers are that good...

 

Here's another good one from a little race done between innings... (take note of the "reslish" hot dog in the back)

The Detroit Tigers commentates are named Rod & Mario.. here is their conversation that went on as this was happening... 

--Rod: "He lost his britches."

--Mario: "How does a hot dog lose his pants?"

--Rod: "Saggin'"
--Mario: "Which means his buns were showing"

Favorite Tigers

So we've been watching a lot of Detroit Tigers baseball lately (big surprise, I know).
Over the weekend we were watching and asked the chiefs who their favorite players were...

Frank eagerly said that Prince Fielder is his favorite... He says that they're both a little .. uh... 'husky' but can still move FAST...

 

Beans pondered the question and then said that Miguel Cabrera would be his favorite... why? They both have the same hair 'do!

 {ok this might be slightly exaggerated.... and was from a time when Beans was in desperate need of a grooming...}

AND isn't it just so cute that Frank & Beans are BFFs just like Prince & Miggy?!? Frank & Beans don't have the skills to make up their own handshake...

.. but you can still see their loving bromance!

Suiting up for the Tigers

So we have been watching a lot of Tigers games thanks to MLB.TV (...since they don't play Tigers games down here in Cincinnati .... what's up with that???).

Before the games we always suit up ..... putting on our best gear in preparation for lots of cheering....

Someone, however, is not too thrilled about wearing his jersey and runs for safety when he sees me grab the jersey...

"If I don't make eye contact she won't see me here...."

Unforunately for Frank he has to wear the jersey ... 

CLEARLY he's not happy about the situation.... but he gets over it. 

We're still working on focusing our attention on the actual game (... still...) ... we'll get there.. it's still early in the season...

Frank & Beans Detroit Tigers Home Opener RECAP!

Last Friday was the Detroit Tigers Home Opener at Comerica Park. OF COURSE Frank & Beans were there to check things out!! See what kind of trouble they got into!!

The day started off with the boys chatting it up with Rod & Mario for a little bit...

Beans:  "Yes Rod, I agree with you 100%... I think the Tigers are going to have
another stellar season!!"

Frank: "Ya know, Beans, I feel another World Series coming on, except this time
we're going to win it!!"

And we noticed that these guys got their names up on a greeting on the scoreboard.. they seem to be getting pretty famous..

THEN it was game time...
Frank was having a hard time understanding why Prince Fielder & Miguel Cabrera didn't want to play fetch with him and his green snake toy...

"Come on guys! Throw it! I can run REEEALLY fast!!!"

We had to explain to Frank that this was a baseball game and these guys were a little busy with something more important... 

You guys may not have seen it, but our own Beans was was responsible for one of the Tigers runs.. can you believe it? In case you didn't see it, take a look...
