Double Trouble

The other day I mentioned another birthday gift for Beans...

It's a double leash!!!! {OK.. it's not really FOR Beans but more for us to make walks hopefully a little easier}
We've only been on a couple of walks with this leash and it's going to take lots of practice (we even kept the tags on for the time being in case this turns out to be a disaster!!).

"Just keep walking Just keep walking..."

"Ooh look a cookie!"

The chiefs need to learn to walk together. Beans is a good walker, but Frank has his own agenda and likes to walk ahead. This is going to take some practice. 

We'll get there eventually. Stay tuned!

Favorite Tigers

So we've been watching a lot of Detroit Tigers baseball lately (big surprise, I know).
Over the weekend we were watching and asked the chiefs who their favorite players were...

Frank eagerly said that Prince Fielder is his favorite... He says that they're both a little .. uh... 'husky' but can still move FAST...

 

Beans pondered the question and then said that Miguel Cabrera would be his favorite... why? They both have the same hair 'do!

 {ok this might be slightly exaggerated.... and was from a time when Beans was in desperate need of a grooming...}

AND isn't it just so cute that Frank & Beans are BFFs just like Prince & Miggy?!? Frank & Beans don't have the skills to make up their own handshake...

.. but you can still see their loving bromance!

Two Dogs in a Little Cage...

Over the weekend I was doing some cleaning around the house... washing Frank's bed... etc..
I couldn't find the little chiefs (usually they're right at our feet). I finally see them both sitting together.

...in Frank's cage...

"what.. "

Beans cage.. right "next door" was wide open with plenty of blankets, pillows and other comforts. I figured this wouldn't long... 

... 45 minutes later.. 

"May I help you?"

Ahhh brotherly love...

Tupper-Wednesday

No real theme to today's post ... just a few random recent pictures :)

Last week we went to the pet store (unfortunately sans Frank & Beans) and met Tupper! Tupper is a super cute (and super loud) corgi who was visiting the pet store with his owner. Unfortunately Tupper did NOT want to sit still for a picture...

He's right on Frank & Beans level!

To make up for the lack of quality pictures of Tupper ( :( ...) I found this cutie of Frank & Beans doin what they do best... lay around and be bums!! Although in these pics, Frank looks like a little protector of Beans...

Valentine's Day Card update

So remember those cards Frank & Beans got for Valentine's Day?

The ones they had little-to-no interest in after we gave them?

They're almost devoured!
Frank & Beans can't get enough of there cards... they chew on them any chance they can get!

While he may look all calm and collected ... this picture took Beans (and us) a lot of patience...

Beans' card is almost all chewed down... so his will get taken away soon but I think we'll get some more for these guys to enjoy.

Valentine's Day

It's Valentine's Day... and we had a little photoshoot! Frank & Beans even dressed up for the pictures in their bow ties... how fancy!
After a few pictures Frank got a liiiittle bored...

 until we busted out these guys...!! {Frank's girlfriend & Jerome!!}

When we put them down Beans went RIGHT for Jerome. Frank was pretty good about sitting all nice and pretty... (although very focused on the safety of Jerome)

...and there was a lot of patience from Beans in this one (there was a lot of "Leave it!" and "No!"s being said in this shot... and you can just see the excitement building up in Beans...

For Valentine's Day we got the boys a little gift... edible rawhide Valentine's Day cards!!

I can't tell you how excited I was to give the boys these cards.. SO excited!
So what did the boys do when we gave them their cards??

 Nothing.... just sniff 'em ....

 After a few minute Frank started to chew at one... Guess we'll see what happens over the next few days...

Weekend Recap

The boys wanted to share what they did over the weekend with everyone!
First it started off with a little of this...

And then some more chillin'. Yesterday morning we were laying around and of course the boys were laying all across our laps and we came up with the following picture. Does it not look like Beans' head on top of Frank's body?  {cover up the top-right corner}

Ok maybe it's just us but we got a good laugh out of it.

Auto Show Recap

Over the weekend we all piled in the car and headed up to Toledo and then Detroit for the Auto Show. Frank was really looking forward to attending and checking out some of the new cars.
The ride up looked a little something like this .... 

"Are we there yet? Are we there yet? I'm hungry ... are we there yet?" 

So when we finally got to the Auto Show we headed over to some of Frank & Beans favorite cars. It's amazing how we were able to sneak past security and the doormen and everything!

 

First up was the new Mini Cooper Paceman. Beans said he's been looking for a nice set of wheels to pick up some chicks in ...

Then we stopped by some micro-sized car exhibit (?) and came along this lovely little guy. This happened to be Rudy's favorite. As you can see it was perfectly sized just for him.

And then was the long awaited 2014 Corvette Stingray. Seeing this car was all that Frank could talk about for the past few days, so when we finally got up to seeing it, Frank couldn't help but jump right on up into the drivers seat to see how he'd look.. 

"0-60 in less than 4 seconds will get me down to Pet Smart for some treats REALLY fast! What do you think? Is red a good color for me?" 

We told Frank he needed to work on saving his money so that he could place an order for the car when they go on sale in April.. then he has a few more months to save up until he can pick it up in September. We'll see what happens with that...

Fuzzy Pink Blanket Friday

It's Friday.. and Frank & Beans are pumped! I asked them what they plan to do this weekend and this is what they showed me ....

{I translated that to "wrapping up in pink fuzzy blankets and watching movies all weekend like Frankenweenie" ...}

Sounds like quite a weekend, and a long weekend at that since we have Monday off! I'm sure a walk or two around the neighbhood will be in store to get these lazy bums up and moving.... have a good weekend everyone!

Frank & Beans New Years Recap {failed}

So I just realized that I never posted our attempt at New Years photos... why? Because they weren't that great. The boys just weren't cooperating...
I had this vision.... and even set the stage to show how they'd be partying the night away....

... all I wanted was for the 2 boys to sit in their 'party attire' and pose for a picture or two ...
This is what I got...

Aaand this was the best shot we could get... 

...of course Frank is only focused on the treat...... figures..

Despite all the hard work trying to show how the boys spent their NYE evening... I'm sure they partied like a rock star just like this...
